Tom Goss - Lover - The video
One of my favorite songs, now with a wonderful video. A young man dies in Afghanistan and his partner is left alone. Under the law of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" LGBT people can't openly serve in the US army. I am against the war, weapons, armies,... this means I wouldn't serve in any army, I wouldn't go to war, I don't want to have a gun in my hands. Killing is not the answer. This doesn't mean I live outside the world. There are wars, weapons and armies are necessary, without them we would probably live in anarchy. I made my choice knowingly not to be part of them. In the US this choice is denied to LGBT. Whether some people want it or not, there are LGBT working for the US army and they are doing a wonderful job. Unfortunately it is not enough: they can be sent home based on their sexuality.
Tom Goss's video shows the human beings behind the sexuality. Lot of people tend to forget that LGBT have feelings and emotions too.
