The butterfly

Remember the rain,
yesterday,
every drop cried the pain,
out of your silence.

There you lied,
your eyes staring at the moon,
your thoughts lost in the desert,
of your claim.

Desperate you begged,
for help you cried,
for nothing you waited.

Suddenly a butterfly,
passed your lost way,
looking at him flying,
hope found your way.

England - The foggy land

This is the way we outsiders think about England: a rainy and foggy place.
It is certainly true.
For me it is easy to say what I am going to say, as I am not living there and if I am visiting I always can leave. But I love it. I love the colors, the rain, the fog, the country's smell. I love just being there.
And Helmut and I have found wonderful friends there!

More from England - Charmouth, the Jurassic coast

Charmouth lies in the south west corner of Dorset at the heart of the Lyme bay coast line. You walk on the beach and you have history around you. Every stone you pick up could hide a fossil.
Sometimes one could wonder who is more fossilized between the fossil and the one picking it up...

Mother's tears

The little child is gone

The mother's heart broken

Silent tears in her eyes

Looking for the strength

For living.

El Mar Minor - Spain

March - April 2009 Spain
El Mar Minor

One of our favorite walks when we are in Spain.
One side the "salinas" and the other side the "Mar Menor", facing "La Manga", and in the end we face the open Mediterranean See.

Lyme Regis, Dorset - England, with Marc & Mark

I was surprised discovering England's beaches. They are really different from the Italian or Spanish ones.
We were spending a long week-end with friends - Marc and Mark.
I was very happy to finally go back to England and for the first time I was not staying all the time in London. I love London, I really do, but sometimes one has to visit others places than the capital city in a so fascinating country.
Is London England? Or Should one consider London and the country side as two different countries?

Walking on the beach

March - April 2009
Spending some time in Spain on holiday.
Not the best moment emotionally, but I love being there.
This year it still was cold, windy and rainny. But who cares. And when the sun shines in a minute it's warmer.

My nephew Simone

Spain March - April 2009
My heart is aching, my sister is in throbbing pain,
Her little child just died.
How can one explain the unknown pain
poisoning the heart of a mother.
Everything is meaningless,
only remain the tears and
the memories.
Rest in peace little Simone.

Saõ Paulo the never ending city

You let your eyes look around and try to see the end. But is there an end?
Saõ Paulo the big city, so big that you can be in the city's highest skyscraper and still you can see anything but the town.
